"Nkechi" Body Butter
Body Butter for Dry Skin, Made Without Added Water
Nkechi Body Butter is a water-free whipped shea body butter made for dry skin, rough skin and skin that feels tight after showering. It is a natural body butter made for deeper skin tones and for anyone who wants black owned body care without a long ingredient list.
Texture and Finish: A Water-Free Whipped Shea Body Butter
Thick and whipped, firm in the jar and buttery on contact. It melts in and leaves a soft, velvety finish rather than a greasy one. Because it contains no added water, a little covers a lot.
Scent: Naturally Fragranced, No Added Synthetic Fragrance
Earthy and buttery with soft herbal notes from peppermint, tea tree and eucalyptus.
Made With: yellow and ivory shea butter, mango butter, rosehip, grapeseed, almond and castor oils, peppermint, tea tree, eucalyptus.
How to Use Body Butter for Dry Skin
- Apply to clean, slightly damp skin straight after bathing.
- Warm a small amount between your palms.
- Massage in circular motions until it melts in.
- Add extra to elbows, knees, hands and feet.
- Reapply to dry areas as needed.
Where It Fits: Body Butter and Body Oil Layering Order
This is the richest step in a body care routine. Cleanse, apply a lotion or cream first if you want a lighter layer, then use Nkechi to seal and soften. If you use a body oil too, oil goes last.
Best For: dry skin, rough skin, ashy skin and moisture-depleted skin on deeper skin tones.
Not For: broken or actively irritated skin. Patch test first if you have sensitive skin. Natural butters soften in heat, refrigerate if it arrives melted.
"Ekene" Hair OIl
A Lightweight Scalp and Hair Oil for Dry Scalp and Dry, Brittle-Feeling Hair
"Ekene" Hair Oil is a lightweight, plant-based scalp and hair oil for a scalp that feels dry or uncomfortable and hair that feels dry, brittle or rough. It is made for coily, curly and protective-styled hair, and for anyone who wants a simple scalp-care step between washes.
Texture and Finish: A Light Hair Oil That Absorbs Without Residue
Light and fast-absorbing. It sinks in rather than sitting on top, so it works under braids, twists, locs and wigs without weighing hair down or dulling the style.
Scent: A Naturally Herbal Scalp and Hair Oil
Fresh, herbal and gently minty, with no added synthetic fragrance.
Made With: [paste your label ingredient list here], keep this factual, with no ingredient credited with growing or thickening hair.
How to Use Hair Oil for Dry Scalp
- Scalp: apply a small amount directly to areas that feel dry or tight, and massage gently with fingertips.
- Hair: warm a few drops between your palms and smooth through mid-lengths and ends.
- Protective styles: part between sections, apply a small amount to the scalp, and massage gently without disturbing the style.
- Oiling before washing: apply to the scalp and hair before shampooing to make cleansing feel gentler.
Where It Fits: Scalp Care Between Washes
This is the between-wash scalp step. Pair it with a scalp-first wash day routine, and use a small amount on the ends as a finishing step.
Best For: dry-feeling scalps, and dry, brittle or rough-feeling hair on coily, curly and protective-styled hair.
Not For: broken or damaged skin, or an open or weeping scalp. A little goes a long way. Patch test first if your skin is sensitive.

Thin and fast-absorbing. It spreads easily over damp skin and leaves a soft finish rather than a rich, coating one.
Scent: A Fresh, Herbal Facial Oil
Fresh, herbal and naturally earthy, with clean tea tree and neem notes and no added synthetic fragrance.
Made With: tea tree, vitamin E, grapeseed oil, neem oil.
How to Use Facial Oil
As a moisturizing step: on clean skin, apply 1–3 drops to fingertips and press over face and neck, avoiding the eyes.
As a cleansing oil: apply a small amount to dry skin, massage to loosen makeup and sunscreen, then rinse or follow with a gentle cleanser.
Where It Fits: Facial Oil, Before or After Moisturizer
Facial oil goes after water-based products, to help seal in what is underneath. If you use a paste or serum, that goes first.
Best For: dry, dull or tight-feeling skin, and anyone who prefers a light oil over a cream.
Not For: broken or damaged skin, or the eye area. Because it contains tea tree and neem, patch test first if your skin is sensitive.
